Soaring With the Lord a Slice of Heaven, A Poem.

The morning rays of sunlight were gleaming through the blinds.

The warmth of the sun touched my face, woke me and reminded me there was a fresh snowfall last night.

Like a small child on Christmas day I jumped out of bed and pulled open the blinds.

I beamed at the flawless flakes of snow that laid like a blanket and sparkled back at me.

The suns rays glistened on the snow and like teeny, tiny jewel's in blue's, pink's, yellow's and green's they shined like precious gems for as far as my eyes could see.

Like a small child in amazement, I felt like dancing in glee.

I sang out in joy and laughed like a small one, with a brand new toy to play upon.

I smiled at the Father above, Creator of all for a Blessing as this.

My words of praise seemed small to me to see such a vision was a wondrous and glorious sight.

I knew it was the Lord and Savior who tossed the beautiful flakes and surprised a great many on this day of His.

I thanked the King of Kings for all He gives to me.

If we choose not the light, the dark in the world will surely come in.

His name is evil and that's what his intentions will be to take anyone down that will follow him.

A free will was given to each one of us. So it is a choice who will we follow and who will we trust?

God sent His beloved son to die a brutal death upon the Cross at Calvary so we could live and be set free.

In the Light we will be Blessed and saved from hell, also called eternal death.

Heaven or Hell is where we will be when this Ole body dies off one or the other awaits tor thee.

Christ my Teacher, Counselor, Guide and Best Friend I feel so truly grateful to know and humbled for all He has done for me.

If one chooses and asks the Lord Jesus inside their heart a 'Child of Gods' they will be and are forgiven Christ paid the price so we could be free.

He gave us His letter to show us how to live.

He is Love and His Love will never fail.

All of this is written in His Holy Word.

I Pray Oh Lord, please do touch the lost hearts and help me to be your light and share the good news of Salvation, with the might I have in You.

In the name of Jesus He gives His children the authority, to boot out the dragon and In the name of Jesus the devil must flee.

Help me Jesus to stand my ground and never to forget I am here to serve you and to help those in need to know your Name the one above all others.

Jesus will return one day soon and every knee will bow and know that He is Lord.

I pray Lord none are left standing and Jesus says to them, 'I know you not, because you have denied my name.'

Life in eternity is a reservation one does make while we live on planet earth so I can pray that the lost will clearly hear the truth.

The hole that was in my heart was empty then filled with, the Breath of Life.

My life has changed forever and this Jesus is all because of You.

You went to the cross and took our sin and shame so in You we could choose to be 'Born Again'

I fended my prayer in thanksgiving for all the gifts He has Blessed me with.

I had the day off and for this I was elated.

If one ever felt grateful today this was me.

My God in Heaven you are so sweet, as one could possibly be.

You know all my heart and the desires inside of me.

I slip on my boots all shinny and new and they fit like a a glove that was meant to be.

In quiet anticipation I give Glory and Praise for all the favors the Father has sent my way.

I am a lowly sinner and do not deserve.

Because Christ loves so much He has many gifts for thee, all His children need to do is open, look, then see.

I got my key to warm my frozen car. I prayed that it would turn over for me and with a grinding sound over and over my Ole car did start

I praised God for there He went again, His Grace, Mercy and Love He is never short on.

I walked on the snow and under my feet the ground was frozen and sounded like chips to eat.

I laughed and I was giddy, like a young girl in new found love.

Then I pranced like a deer inside to gather my gear and tears of joy rolled down my cheeks.

It took much time to put the money aside.

In prayer with diligence the Lord and I got the job done.

Then in His goodness and to my delight I was Blessed and surprised I had money left over.

I filled my pockets with food because I would surely need to eat.

The Holy Spirit reminded me, He is so special, dear and sweet.

I took my new toy and tied it up above my car. My heart was beating with appreciation. .

The Lord suprised me and sent another wink my way.

There was a parking space so close it was a gift the Lord held for me.

 I unload my new toy and walk a ways up to the hill.

I hear, 'Good morning friend, you are so very lucky today.'

'You have all this fresh powder and the sun shines bright, what a.treat you get to be in it and play.

I smiled and laid down my new toy to buckle my boots and zip them up all the way.

Then a whistle I hear, 'Oh wow, what a beauty this is, you must have paid a pretty penny or won a lotto to purchase a board such as this.'

I laugh and almost cried in joy, 'I did neither, the Good Lord above has Blessed me so.

I had the money saved then was given a huge surprise. I went inside to purchase my new toy and because the store was closing everything cost 80 percent less.

The money I had left I gave to the children in the foster homes where there is little left over.

I do not share this with you to brag, but to give All Glory and Praise to the Father above.

I tbelieve inside of me I was given a test to see what I would do with all of the money I had left.

In joy, I was grateful to give. I only wish I had much more to help the Lord pass it out each day.

The Lord Jesus gave His life so that you and I could be free, from sin and shame and guilt and blame, from dark and dreary and lonely and lost.

So do you know Him brother, the Jesus I speak of?'

My friend smiles back to me, 'Now you go on and have a.great and wonderful day.

As I turn to leave he sounds, 'Hey, if it is OK by you, I would like to meet around noon. I can take a break and then take a run with you.'

I would like to hear more about this Jesus friend of yours.

Maybe I could borrow Him for a day or two or three.

You see I have not been feeling well lately and it always seems to be about me.

I am sick and tired of the blues that I always seem to hold.

I wonder maybe this Jesus Friend of yours could help to see me through

I gleamed as I said, ' Why sure He can do, trust me on this one if He, sweet Jesus helped a sinner like me I know there is always hope for you, because there was hope for me.

I pulled down the safety bar and saw not a soul insight.

I thanked my God and gave Him Glory for the friend He sent along to me.

'Sweet Jesus you are so awesome, thank you for speaking through me.'

I had the whole mountain it seemed and a blanket of fresh powder to soar in.

Once at top I slipped into my board. I lowered my goggles and tucked in my scarf.

The glare of the sun was so bright. I felt the Glory of Jesus deep inside of my heart.

I felt His presence like a fire that warmed the inside of me.

The gift of this day was so precious to me.

The fresh powder came up to my ankles and Ireminded me of Faith.

Our God, you cannot see Him, just as I can not see my boots yet I know that they are on my feet all snug and sweet.

It is the same with Jesus by Faith in Him one knows.

He lives in our hearts and will always love us so.

There are times one could feel lonely but alone we will never be.

For our best friend named Jesus lives inside of all that call upon He.

Jesus will never leave nor forsake His Children, it is in His written Word.

He stood those years when in the World I trusted in things were more important then a relationship with Him.

I should be in prison or named as dead for my deeds were empty and served no one but me.

Christ stood at the door and knocked and waited on me.

I was lost, like in the wilderness. I had no where to go and I had much pain so I opened the door and His love came pouring in.

I spilled out my heart the best that I could do and then I repented of my sin. I was not sure what He would do then.

In a wink of an eye, He spoke, ' I have been waiting and I have heard and you are forgiven.'

I was made pure and fresh as clean, white snow because of His blood shed upon the Cross.

I had a new slate to start fresh within. He gave me His Word to always live on.

There is only one perfect and for sinners He came here so we could be spared Hell and shed His light for He.

His name is God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit all three are One.

Yahweh, Jehovah, King of Kings, Redeemer, Prince of Peace that would be Him.

He gave us the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us.

How much better could it be?

In Him there is no end and once these clothes are shed we will spend in the light of eternity.

So live your dreams forever and never do give up.

Our Lord promises to hear and Bless you and He is, was, and will always be.

The one true God who sent His son, our Saviour Jesus who died and rose again for you and for me.

It is in the Blessing, He wants ALL of us to live.

I soared like an Eagle on down the slope.

Peace and joy I had inside of me.

The snow blew gently upon my face.

I felt like I was flying and like a bird, I was so free.

I knew it was the Good Lord and He was riding on my New Board, right next to me.

I could feel His face smiling to see 'His Child' soaring In His Love so precious and free.
