Never Never give up on Gods Blessing. Part 11

The great thing about a story is it can start or stop at any given time. It is not over until it is over. David and I sat in the County Court room Tuesday waiting to hear the sentence for his second DUI in a three year time. We have been through one together and in a hundred years I would have never believed we would go through number two together. I have forgiven David. I needed to, because Christ forgives me. But for the grace of God go I. Resentment or anger holds one down and stops the sunlight of the spirit from flowing within. It is not always easy. Life as a Child of God is not easy. We can have unmeasurable joy and peace but we do suffer in the cause for Christ.

Today in the court room both David and I had unmeasurable peace in knowing our prayers for Gods will to be done, had been established. We are both eternally grateful for the host of prayers said on our behalf. I know for me if a certain few did not feed me with loving words though Christ Jesus I would have not remained strong and steadfast in the knowledge of Christ. Family and friends with all my heart know, I am so thankful. To my hubpage sisters and brothers know that without your writing and encouraging me with prayer and hope I could have fallen on my face. All the prayers together can and do move mountains. There was no luck about anything today it was because of Christ, the Holy Spirit moved upon the judges heart and mind. He went before us to prepare the way. May God Bless all who read in abundance of joy and peace.

I know my best thinking could not have devised the plan Christ put into action Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM ( no kidding) David and I awaited his fate for what could be as much as three years in jail. then probation for a year, huge fines, DUI classes, alcohol tests, counseling sessions, possible ankle bracelet not to mention the mandatory loss of a drivers license for 2 years. David knows I write, 'Never Never give up part 11' and has encouraged me to share the story in the hopes and prayers that one or many may be spared pain, grief, suffering and senseless loss. David is very grateful that his decision to drink and drive did not physically hurt, kill or disfigure anyone. He knows but for the Grace of God he was saved from that devastation.

If you choose to read my hub,' Never Never Give Up' that story is what happened to him after taking his first drink after 13 years of sobriety. His first drink lasted about four years It is but for the Love of sweet Jesus I did not leave or harm him during this time. It is a devastating illness a disease that tells a person one drink is OK. It tells the alcoholic they do not have an illness. It is a tornado that wipes out families. I was never in any physical danger, David has never touched me but if you read this and you get hit around. pack it up. Please pack it up. Do not end up a statistic. It could save your life and your loved one might get help. God does not want any woman or man beat upon so for yourself and or your little ones you get to a safe haven. There are many.

Alcohol lies. It is the Devil himself. It will lie to the innocent in the family and tell you, if only you do this or that. Not true. The alcoholic makes a choice to drink. One drink. No one bends the elbow and pours it in. The alcoholic bends his own elbow. If the sun is shining it is a good reason to drink. IF the rain is pouring it is a good reason to drink.

David got his DUI and with the leading of the Holy Spirit was led to Salvation Army rehab. It is a Christian Based treatment center that has 100 beds for males with alcohol addiction. It is a long term program of 3 months to one year and it is very intense. You snooze, you loose. For many this is the last house on the block. From here if you do not get it, you get out. It was during Davids drinking career I started writing on hub pages. Little did I know what God had in store for me. The writing took me deep within and opened up the doors for a closer walk with Christ. During this time I believe the writing helped me to keep my 'sanity' and the enemy away at bay. God does know what he is doing.

It is when David went into the Salvation Army for the three month program I discovered the purpose and plan for my life. It has been a life long process but today I can see that living in Gods will and plan is a guarantee for abundance and joy. Each and every one of us was created for a purpose. The creator makes no junk, he has a plan for all. It does not mean it will be easy. When in Gods will and plan a passion to pursue and persevere for Christ is a joy ride above any I have been on. I know my passion to write was evident in me at a very young age. I had this drive inside to write. I went for it but along the way the parities, boys and alcohol blurred the vision inside of me. It did not burn the plan Christ had for me. We have a redeemer. He has delivered us from the snare of the enemy. The enemy has no future. Children of God we do have a Future.

Yes we all fall short of the Glory of God. We can make bad judgment calls and if we make it up to the other side Christ can bring to fruition the plan he created for us. We must ask for his plan. It is in us, ready to open. Check it out if you have a desire on your heart. Is it the plan Christ has for you? Nothing with Jesus Christ is an ordinary measure rather and extraordinary measure!!! If it is a passion give 'Him' the Glory and let it shine. Step up and out.. It is for your good and for the Love of Christ Jesus. He will take care of the details, just start.

I was sitting on the creek today wondering how many leave mother earth and do not know what Gods desire and will for their life is? I could easily have been one of those numbers but the more I dove into God, the more I dove into writing. The more I heard faith, the more I wrote faith. The more I wrote faith, the more passion I had. The more passion, the less fear. The less fear, brought peace. Through surrender I trusted the creator of the universe with ALL of my life. I knew that I knew, to keep putting one foot in front of the other and by hearing the word not twisted or compromised but the living Gospel of Jesus Christ more would be revealed. My Faith would remain strong. This chapter in my life has been like a rainbow of colors flowing into one big circle that keeps growing by the fresh living water.

God never gave up on me, nor David, nor you. He has a PLAN for me,for you, for David. We need to discover our plan and purpose. It is not an opportunity or job that brings external things but a passion inside that brings unmeasurable peace in serving Christ. God is diverse not everyone is a preacher or evangelist because we need shoe people, restaurant people, builders, designers, hairstylists so on. God created diversity and when a passion is from Christ, no man can shut the door or put out the fire. The enemy may try but he knows he is doomed to hell. That is his future. Children of God our future is with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Paul had passion to love Christ and save others. He writes about his unspeakable joy and peace in all the trials and tribulations he went through. NO other man except Jesus went through more tribulation then Paul and he endured to the end. He knew his mission to save others with the love of Christ was the reason he was saved. Paul knew he was in the will for GOD. He fought the fight. He won the race. He did not keep his eyes on the trials and tribulation's but on,' the crown of righteousness' he would receive from the Father. So no matter the age, discover that passion within and go for it Children of GOD. This is an amazing time we live in. Christ is going to return. He needs us. We are fishers of 'men' He will use the passion he created in you for HIS GLORY.

God knows what he does. He came so that 'we may have life and might have it more abundantly'. David is Born Again. He has lived on the streets, He had 13 years of sobriety. He has led Men's Bible studies. He loves the Lord. He loves to Worship and Church. He had an opportunity and was a master plumber for many years. It brought nice income, as did my hairstyling. God used those jobs to build us up. David had a fall. I have had none ( BIG KIDDING) If there is a passion to sell shoes and if it is from God above, you will know. He will use what he gave you for HIS Glory. You could end up sharing the gospel with hundreds of shoe addicts. (like me, kidding again) You never know. You could generate more shoes for the unfortunate children then any other person alive and love it, because it is for the Glory of Christ. You maybe started selling shoes yet your passion in Christ grew and he moved it along for you. If we get out of his will for us we loose the Blessing. The good news is we are delivered. He has redeemed us on the Cross at Calvary. He will pick us up, when we ask. He will come for us. He is there. He waits for us. He wants none of his creation to perish.

David knows pain. He came back but for the Grace of God. He did make it and is so grateful. I know Davids background and many in jail come from the streets. David knows how to share Jesus Christ with street people.Many in jail do not know Jesus Christ. David knows how to share the love of Jesus Christ and Salvation.God can 'turn all things for good for those that love him'. David has the tools to stand tall wherever he is. Paul spoke the scripture many times.' I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' ( Phil. 4:13) It is not always easy but no one can steal the joy of Christ. No one can steal your armor for Christ. I have a feeling inside about David. My prayer is he comes out a 'Mighty Warrior for Christ.'

For me I do not know what is to come. I must be about my Fathers business. I have loosed angels around David in the Name of Jesus to keep him from harms way. I will continue to pray for him. I know there is a plan.I would love to think I know what it is, but I can not be for certain. It is out of my hands. Thank God. I know David has gifts to touch the hurting and lost. It is up to David. I know I have a Father that loves us all and wants the best for his Children. He has us covered. 'When Christ is for us who can be against us?'

The judge calls David to the stand. It was no 'luck' David was called second. The Spirit was moving in the court room. We knew and felt 'HIS' presence. The judge asked David how many months he stayed in Salvation Army. David answers, '5 months 10 days your honor.' The Judge did not know the details of Davids departure, nor did he ask. He said he had no idea why he was doing what he was about to do. In his 15 years as Judge he had only done some thing similar 3 times. Most with this offense leave the courtroom for one year in jail at least plus huge fines so on. David got one year in jail with six months suspended with a work release. David has no job now but who knows? You got it, God knows. The judge took in to consideration his time in treatment. He will have no probation, counseling, ankle bracelet, alcohol tests or the likes. With good time David could leave in a month or a few.The judged took $400 off of the fine of $900. Payments can be arranged after jail is served. David 'checks in time to the County Jail is. on Tuesday July 20, 2010..Please my friends continue to pray for us.

David is at peace with the sentence. I am eternally grateful. It could have been much worse. It goes without saying he is sad. I am sad. He is humbled and is into the Word of God each waking moment. He says he can not get enough of it. He has peace as I have not seen on him. It is the Love of Jesus. Friends be encouraged you are loved. You are never alone. Christ loves us. He forgives us. David is thankful for each and every prayer, as am I.
