Living in all the Blessing's of God, a reality
76Jesus Hear my Prayer
God hear my prayer in the Name of Jesus.
We all want answer to prayer. Sometimes the answer is no because the Father knows the big picture and wants what is best for His Children. He is the Father and sees around the bend. Our Father loves us and answers prayer according to His Will. 'God will always give them what is right and He will not be slow to answer them.' (Luke 18:7)
Would an earthly Father give his 5 year old boy a pocket knife because he really wanted one? If the boy kicked and cried would he get the knife just to quiet him? I think not. Sometimes the answer is wait because the answer is not in our best interest, yet. Maybe when the little boy grows in understanding the earthly father plans to give the boy a pocket knife. Maybe the boy will decide he does not want a pocket knife after all when it is time.
God has blessing for His people. Not just a blessing, but the blessing. You see, a blessing opens up the window of heaven into a particular aspect of your life, but the blessing affects every aspect of your life. You may have a blessing in your life, even many blessings. But God wants you to have the blessing, so you can experience His fullness in every area of your life. That is what Psalm 1 is about.
Living in the Blessing is the spoken favor of God over your life. Gods word tells us it is available for His children. 'The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. I came so that they may have life and have it more abundant.' (John 10:10) I needed to search my heart and scriptures to see where or what I was missing in Gods word to receive an answer to my prayer. I know many struggle in these difficult times in finance, and God has ample supply. He the Source of all is not limited. Children of God are, 'in this world but not of this world' and the promises for Gods children are to be fruitful and multiply. What was blocking the answer for favor and increase in my finances? God does not hold back from us.
If something is not right I need to look in the mirror. The enemy has been defeated at the cross. I was led to search scripture. All Glory to God. This has been an earnest, fervent prayer for months on end. God has supplied me with amazing miracles and blessings. His delivery system is quite clever and more wondrous then my finite mind could ever muster up. I am forever grateful. 'Our God will supply all your needs according to His Riches and Glory in Christ Jesus.'
If there is a crevice in the heart that is holding a secret, a bitter or evil thought our prayers will not be answered. If we are living in sin or have an unforgiving heart our prayer will be blocked from the sunlight of the Spirit. God does shape and mold His kids for His Glory, so we can be His hands and feet. There are seasons of reaping the harvest. We will reap what we sow. If they are good or bad seeds we will reap what we sow. There are consequences for sin. There is a plentiful harvest when we plant good seed.
Many years ago I had to overcome my sinful nature of credit card use. I am forgiven and forgive myself. I have moved forward in Christ. Praise God, His Children are forgiven and 'God can turn all things for the good for those that love Him' (Romans 8:28) I no longer have a credit card. God is faithful and just. I do not need one. It got me stuff, stuff that corrodes over time. It was corroding my mind. I was in debt that I could not repay. We take nothing with us when we leave this earth, but our souls. Praise God of the Heavens brothers and sisters Jesus is going to return soon.
A miracle is temporary. Miracles are wonderful and awesome and provide. Miracles bring many to Christ. We all pray for miracles. For our loved ones, health needs, financial needs, a new job, to get pregnant, to help others, to find a home, to sell a home, to bring home a child. to publish a book on and on. The desire of my heart is to be free and living in the Gods Blessing, a permanent flow of Gods unending favor. I believe we would all like this peace of mind. God assures us we will have troubles in this lifetime but to keep on in Him to the prize of Eternal Glory.
'What so ever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.' (1 Timothy 2:1)) God has thousands of promises written in His Word and I can still flounder like a fish out of water at times. I know I love God and I can not fathom His love that is so deep and for me and all His creation. I often think of the Cross and what He did for this wretched sinner and all of the world and I know His love is truly unmeasurable. (John 3:16)
My friend if you have come here and are not saved then it is not possible to understand that a believers heart and mind are made new by the renewing of the mind. When we are Born Again we are transformed from the inside out. We are new creatures in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) If you are not saved, then accept Jesus Christ into your heart by Faith and repent of your sin. God hears your prayer for salvation and you will be Saved. (Romans 10:9-10). Only Gods Spirit can change you into a 'Child of God.' (Isaiah 55:1)
I have missed the whisper of the small still voice many times. Keep practicing faith Children of God. If you fall get up,and get to the Rock. We are not alone. We have the hand of each other to pull us up and we always have the living Word to carry us, when we are faint and tired and it seems giving up would be an easier road. We reap a harvest in thought, words and deeds so keep on with the good seed. keep handing the fresh living water of Jesus Christ. God says 'He will never leave nor forsake us' (Hebrews 3:13) God has the plan in control. He knows what to do. Oh Glory to God. He is the source of ALL. Faith is similar to playing the piano; the more one does practice, the clearer the sounds and melody. The more beautiful the tones come together in ease. 'Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.' (Romans 8:28)
For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.' (Proverbs 23:7) Everything we think starts with a thought. When God created the Earth and Heavens He had a thought about it first. The Lord God made the Earth and Heavens and every plant before it was in the earth and every herb of the field before it grew. (Genesis 2:5)
My prayer for you is that you will hear through the Spirit of God in me if you struggle in the area of 'Living in the Blessing.' I know many do in these times of uncertainty. DO not let the enemy rob from you what belongs to you through Jesus Christ. I am led to share a revelation with you that came my way in Gods perfect timing. I missed the whisper, the answer written in Gods word was right under my nose, my own thinking was blocking answer to prayer. (Deut.10 :5) That is a dangerous neighborhood to go to. JK, not. I know in my Spirit God wanted to show me something. Each time I turned to a Christian TV station a Pastor would be sharing on Living in the Blessing or financial increase. When I turned on the radio I would here about Gods Children living in the Blessing or how to get your prayers answered. There was no mistake I was to hear. I love how God delivers answer to prayer. What a long road to a revelation. Whew and thank-you sweet Jesus.
If you think of your life as a garden ( Adam and Eve ) we are always planting seeds. The thoughts we think are seeds we plant. To reap a good harvest we need to keep meditating on good, pure and holy thoughts to get our prayers answered. We have the God given power to choose what we will think, what we will say and what we will do. These are seeds in our garden. The seeds we plant will reap a harvest. If they are good or bad seeds they will produce. Adam and Eve reaped what they sowed in the garden. It is the same today. If a farmer sows seed he will reap a harvest. So it is with words and deeds and actions.God knows our hearts.' I can give each one payment for what he does' (Jeremiah 17:10)
It is essential that when you pray that it is in line with Gods word. (Philippians 4:7) Your situation may look ugly but keep on with the good seed of God. If you falter get back up and rely on the Word of God not what the situation looks like. 'God is for us not against us' (Romans 8:31.) There are times we need the answer to a prayer and soon, like today. Gods timing is perfect and it comes. In humility, I asked God 'what am I not getting here?' I asked God to help me to see through His eyes.
Alleluia the light came on. I am humble pie. I Praise God. The answer is so simple, yet I can complicate how to tie the shoe. Thank you God. He heard me all the times that I pleaded and pleaded in prayer. He understood. He has carried me. I had something in my heart that I needed to see and understand. I am so grateful for prayer. It is a lifeline to everything God has for us. God has not been slow to answer I have been slow to hear. He does not condemn us, He understands and waits.
I was giving and tithing and working and sowing with a cheerful heart. I am not a perfect and low I do fall short the Glory of God. I have made mistakes in this area and many of them. Because God is Love I prayed and believed and GOD has sent me miracle after miracle. God is awesome, the more I come to know Christ the more I want to know Him and all He has for His kids, because He loved us first we have these gifts available for us yesterday, today and tomorrow. 'We are more then conquers in Christ Jesus' (Romans 8:37)
God multiplies our seeds if they are good or bad, we will reap what we sow. God will not condemn us. We will bring it on, not God. God is grace, mercy, love, understanding, generosity, kindness, forgiveness more then we can possibly fathom. He knows we will need to grow up in wisdom and it is not always easy. If something in your garden needs pulling then get it out so you can clear the path for the promises of God. Nothing we have done makes Him love us less. We must confess and repent and be rid of the seed that is negativity or sin. Water the garden with good nutrients and fresh water and see the good of your seed flourish. Let your garden stay dry or forget the nutrients and it does not take long for the fruit to dry up and out, only to die.
The enemy wants any and all to blame God for their ills and the ills of the World. One day the enemy will be gone forever. The World will be made new as God did intend. Satan's fingerprints are everywhere but he is doomed to Hell with His followers. Children of God we have authority over the Devil. Jesus defeated Him for us. He carried that old rugged cross, beat and whipped to near death then nailed to the Cross so that we could be made right in Gods eyes. Do not let Satan steal your joy of 'Living in the Blessings' that God has for His Children.
I can not imagine waking up without hope in this uncertain world. A relationship with Jesus is certain. He has a future planned for His Children, not only in the world but in eternity and it is good, very good. Do not live life uncertain of what may or may not come down the pike this week or next month. Be certain of a future in the Light with Jesus Christ. His Living Word is the only certainty for a future of hope, promise, joy, prosperity, peace of mind, healing, kindness, meekness, abundant living and eternal life in the Heavens. (John 3:1
Our nature is a wretched sinner but we can be made new and will desire to be made more HOLY when we Love Christ, because He loved us first. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these other things will be added unto you. (Matthew 6:31) Self seeking and self help books do not answer prayer. Jesus is the way truth and life.
Is it time for you? It is time for me! To bad, so sad that it has taken many long hard roads and years to learn a very easy God principle. Pray, Believe to receive and do not DOUBT in your heart and waiver. (Matthew 21:21) ' I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not DOUBT, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree but can also say to this mountain, 'Go throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done.'(James 1:6) ' But when he asks and does not doubt he receives, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind .' So my Friends, I was DOUBTING
I wavered like the sea. I pray to doubt NO more. MY DOUBT was holding back answer to prayer. God forgives me, I forgive me and I move upward and forward in Christ. I know without a doubt God is going to provide for the blessing. I am excited to share how God brings the stream to me and I live in 'the Blessing' God has for all of His creation. I am humbled and grateful for the knowledge in my heart written in the Living Word for all to receive. It is a choice we must make to follow God or not. For me to walk in 'Gods Blessing's' I needed to stop with the doubt. My heartfelt prayer is that you to walk in the Blessing with Christ. If something is a miss I pray you would be inspired to keep on in Christ Jesus to get answer to all of your prayers. All Glory to God friends, brothers and sisters.
I Praise GOD of the Heavens. My heart is renewed like an eagle and I am soaring in gratitude. I know my answer is here. God has a plan for all of us. So my brothers and sisters Pray, Believe to Receive and then do not DOUBT or waiver in your heart. Think of how happy you will be the day the answer arrives on your lap, heart or doorstep. Believe the answer to your prayer is done. God says so If your prayer is in line with the written word of God, it has been done for us. God has already defeated the enemy, poverty, sin, death, opression and illness on the cross at Calvary. God sent His only son for all of the World so we could have life more abundant and the promise of everlasting life in eternity with the King of Kings.
This is why we have to do all this work, to counteract the doubt and unbelief. If you do not have God's Word in your heart (John 15:7), you will fail to get what you ask for in prayer. God wants to hear from us. God deals with our whole being, not just our prayers. He wants all of us. It makes His day when we come to Him in prayer and tell Him we love Him and talk to Him. If you make His day I guarantee He will make yours. Prayer is talking with Jesus Christ, the son of God and He makes intersession for us to God the Father. How amazing is that? This is love, unmeasurable. So get all the prayers answered. Then be a living testimony and share the good news. You never know who could receive your good seed.
No matter how far down the scale you think you have gone there is hope if you are still here, accept Jesus into your heart if you do not know Him. Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today .God is the only certainty in this WORLD. He owns it all, anyway. He will come one day and SOON.' Every knee will bow and know Jesus is Lord!!' (Philippians 2:9-11)
May all your days be Blessed by the 'Light of the World.' May Gods favor shine on your face today and always and answer all your prayers, quickly.' God hears our prayers. (John 14:6) Get them answered! Keep on and keep on. U will. (Philippians 4:13)
All Glory to God. In Peace, Skye
Be Blessed in the tune below. Your heart will be moved. Love you

amazing hub
This is indeed encouragement for all of us. Please take a look at my hubs. I am trying to give a similar perpective through my writings.
New follower, Up and Awesome.
Great Hub and God answers all prayers as long as they are His will in the Word of God.
Wonderful and spiritual article.Beautiful and refreshing.I do believe that all the faithful prayers are answered. Thanks for posting.
Skye, Absolutely MARVELOUS! You are such a dear lovely soul!
As you so well stated:”His delivery system is quite clever and more wondrous then my finite mind could ever muster up. I am forever grateful. 'Our God will supply all your needs according to His Riches and Glory in Christ Jesus.” Amen! & Amen!! We are taught in Ephesians that God has already BLESSED us with every spiritual blessing… Skye the Light of the LORD is shining brightly here. You have expounded on some excellent points!
All of God’s WORD is true! It is abundantly overflowing with spiritual treasures… This does not mean that things will always go our way! But is does mean that it is true in His time “God WILL supply all our needs!” There are times when we have to step out on FAITH and TRUST HIM! There are times when we have to draw closer to Him and ask Him to open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see clearly… Either way we as His children must learn to be THANKFUL and “REJOICE, ALWAYS!” in HIM!
“I Praise GOD of the Heavens. My heart is renewed like an eagle and I am soaring in gratitude…” Amen & AMEN!! I REJOICE and PRAISE HIM with you and for you! PRAISE GOD! “Great & marvelous are the Blessingss of our LORD!” “TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
This is truly Wonderful my sister! I thank the Lord for leading me here…. Such thought provoking, encouraging spiritual insight you have shared, May our Heavenly Father continue to enlighten you to encourage others to seek “His Will & His Way!” May He richly Bless you above and beyond your hearts desires that are in HIS WILL for you! Thank you for sharing, In HIS Love, Grace, Joy, Peace & Blessings!
Ok everyone above said it all...I say I love you through him and with and by him!!!!!
Have a great week:0)
Sky2day; thank you for sharing your heart and the action of your faith. Your faith in not only the Word of God but in the Spirit shows forth in how you are living your life... an example of simplicity and to me that is where the real life we desire to have stems from, pure simplicity. We complicate it with cliche and are hindered much by the thoughts and processes of our minds. The mind is full of toxic thinking; I like what Joyce Meyer says,"stinkin' thinkin'". She has a great book: The Power of Simple Prayer.
I have been a student of prayer for over twenty years and still feel at times that I really don't know anything. We have a tendency to look at prayer for selfish reasons instead of a two-way communication with the Father through the Spirit. Our fix it now mentality overrides the seasons of travailing and waiting on the Lord. The Bible gives us a very brief encounter and as we read it we forget about the years and length of time the the pages dictate to us and we think that there was an immediacy. The prayers for a Messiah to come were going on for hundreds and hundreds of years after the promise was given. If we want to know God's heart and mind we have to have the mind of Christ activating fully and that only happens after much renewing and renouncing and changing our thought processor. We are very much corrupted like a computer with a virus... we work very similarly. When Jesus spoke to the disciples after the action of the fig tree dying he simply said, "have faith in God". Prayer is subjective to many things, some of which you pointed out. By the many comments you received you touched many hearts and lives and I know that that is part of your prayers. Therefore answered. Blessings L.
Beautiful and refreshing, I haven't been on the hubpages much so it was nice to read one of your hubs. I can't wait till I'm holidays. Thanks for sharing your faith and grace.
I love miracles, and God-Winks...and just everyday answers...I especially love that Still Small Voice that reminds me He is always with me. Blessings and thanks for writing this.
All prayers are answered emediatly before we finish them, some are "yes", some "no" and the last "wait". We only have to learn to listen to God's answers.
Dear Skye2Day I hadn't been on Hubpages for a few days when today I decided to see what was going on. I came across this hub. It was amazing to me because I was sharing a scripture with a minister from John 10, "my" sheep know my voice and stranger they will not follow!
I could relate to your whole hub. This season of our Country's financial situation has MADE me take a long, hard look on how I've been handling money, the debt I had gotten into, the repetitive purchases, and basically how many pairs of shoes can you really wear logic! LOL!
My husband has been declared disabled by his doctor, he had an emergency pace-maker put in and according to the doctor it was a minute too soon. Now, we are embarking on pursuing obtaining social security disability for him which has been long and arduous. That's want has landed us right smack dab in the land of prayer! I do believe in prayer and ask that you all pray for victory when its his time to go before the Administrative Judge.
We've had to sell things that we've collected over the years to pay the rent and buy food. At first I was saddened but realized that a lot of items I purchased, I had not consulted the Holy Spirit about and began to see it as a new beginning an entering into a deeper relationship with Him.
So, we are giving up the THINGS so that we might understand and be better stewards of what He has given us. At this time I also realized that I needed to govern the temple He blessed me with by choosing to lose weight. Now, I know what it truly means when the Bible says "whom He loveth, He chasteneth." All that we might righteously live the abundant life!
Love you my Sister!
Wow, talk about a hubpage that needed to hit me between the eyes! This is a lesson I struggle with all the time...letting it ALL go and letting God take care of it. I love this phrase from Dr. Charles Stanley..."Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him." I love that, but boy, I sure don't do it often enough. Thank God He is patient when I screw up big time.
Awesome one Skye. Sometime it is important to leave it to the almighty and hope for the best. Keep up the good work.
I do believe that all the faithful prayers are answered.
Hello stranger. What can I say? Great work as always sis. Such powerful words and so truthful. You can see the commitment you have clearly. You spread the word and you are loved by many for just being yourself. You are an inspiration to myself and many more I would say. I hope all is well friend. Heading off the work. Talk to you soon dear Skye.
Voted up and beautiful. What a wonderful read. Have a blessed day...
I praise God for you my Sister! Your heart for God, His people and the Lost is always apparent in your writing and in your responses to the comments of others. May God continue to pour out upon you in abundance! With Love!
You words show the wisdom of the Holy Spirit and close relationship with Abba. Thank you for you openess, you heart for others and for sharing the thereof as revealed in God's word. There is no doubt of your experience and divine guidance. Continued Blessings!
You always have words of blessings to share with us:) So enjoyed the video and the beautiful pictures with the message of the words:) May God Continue to Bless You, and provide you with a Miracle:)
AMEN, Skye! I have written about prayer and this hub seems to compliment the hubs I have written, so hope you come and visit my hubs and check out how we are sisters and can be prayer partners. It is wise to spread the Gospel, and that is why I love hubpages. All over the world I am finding believers in Christ. It is about time we unite in Global Prayer not to ask God, but to give Him Praise and Thanksgiving. Everytime I give Him praise and thanksgiving during difficult times, God gives me what I so desire. And in doing what He expects, putting His Love into Action, He will reward then. Thanks, and I hope to be seeing you on my hubpages. Peace, Christina(CMCastro)
Great hub with great thoughts to ponder about the faithfulness of God. Truly our security is found alone in our relationship with God. I praise God for He is an ever dependable anchor, we can always count on Him. A christian's life is a life of great faith. Each day of our life we face a crisis whether to remain trusting God or stop depending on him. A true christian has no other better alternative but to remain firm on trusting God for He is an ever faithful provider.Thank you for sharing these timeless truths here at Hubpages. Blessings to you always. Best regards.
By your words and love and devotion to God and Jesus, you sound pure and I know your intentions are good but I guess thats where you and I are different my friend -I'm a student of science and in my world it's all about logic, proof, evidence, investigations, formulas and research . . . Psychology and our minds are more powerful than we can ever imagine. My last example for you which was part of my thesis some time ago (long story short) - An average smoker starts smoking in their teens . . . and continues for life and no matter how many warnings of its dangers on the cigerette box, tv, science, health magazines, doctors, medical proof, family, peers etc the average smoker will not stop until they die.
A 2000 year old bible is fed to you either after birth, life trauma or negative life occurrence and the devotion to those who accept it is forever without question...
The 1st example has warnings yet majority of our species are blind to it and will do it to the end of their days, imagine how much more difficult would it be in the second example the bible . . .
Just some food for thought, though I know as my examples illustrate it would make no difference to you . . .
I thank you for praying for me and wish you all the best in life
A favorite Christian rationalization for why God does not answer our prayer to eliminate cancer is because "it would take away free will." The logic: If you pray and God answers your prayer, then God would have revealed himself to you, and you would know that God exists. That would take away your free will to believe in him. Of course, if this is true, then by default all of Jesus' statements about prayer in the Bible are false. It means that God cannot answer any prayer. Also, why is a God who must remain hidden like this incarnating himself and writing the Bible?
If Jesus is God, and if God is perfect, why aren't all of Jesus's verses about prayer true? Was Jesus exagerating? Was he fibbing? If Jesus is perfect, why wouldn't he speak the truth? Why doesn't a prayer to cure cancer worldwide tomorrow work?
Believers have many different ways to explain why all these verses in the Bible do not work, even if you are praying sincerely, unselfishly and non-materialistically, and even if the answer to your prayer would help millions of people and glorify God in the process. They will say things like this:
"You need to understand what Jesus was saying in the context the first century civilization in which he was speaking..."
or:
"When Jesus talked about 'moving a mountain', he was speaking metaphorically. When someone says, 'it is raining cats and dogs,' no one takes him literally. Jesus was using a figure of speech rather than speaking literally..."
or:
God is not a thing. He is a being. He has a will. He has desires. He relates to people. He has personality traits. Prayer is a fancy word for talking to God. God, who knows everything, even before we say it, knows the difference between our thoughts and wishes, and when we are actually addressing him. He hears our prayers and responds. His responses are based on his personal decisions. We cannot predict how he will respond to our prayers... [ref]
The problem is, all of these rationalizations miss two important points:
1. God is supposed to be an all-powerful, all-knowing, perfect being.
2. The statement, "Nothing will be impossible for you", along with the other Bible verses quoted above, are false. The fact is, lots of things are impossible for you.
If a perfect being is going to make statements about how prayer works in the Bible, then three things are certain: 1) He would speak clearly, 2) he would say what he means, and 3) he would speak the truth. That is what "being perfect" is all about. A perfect, all-knowing God would know that people would be reading the Bible 2,000 years later, and therefore he would not use first-century idioms (he would say what he means). He would know that normal people will be reading the Bible and interpreting it in normal ways, so he would speak in such a way as to avoid mis-interpretation (he would speak clearly). He would know that when you say, "Nothing will be impossible for you", that what it means is, "Nothing will be impossible for you" and he would make sure that the statement "Nothing will be impossible for you" is accurate (he would speak the truth). If God says it, it should be true -- otherwise he is not perfect.
Unfortunately, the fact is that thousands of things are impossible for you no matter how much you pray, and no one (including Jesus) has ever moved a mountain.
In order to see the truth, you need to accept the fact that all of the above verses are wrong. The fact is, God does not answer prayers. The reason why God does not answer your prayers is simple: God is imaginary.
You can find many believers who will say, "The reason why scientific experiments fail to detect God is because God must remain hidden. He does not answer prayers if he knows that he will be detected."
In order to see the truth, you need to accept that this explanation is silly. If God must remain hidden, then he cannot answer any prayers. Any "answered prayer" would expose God.
The whole notion that "God" must remain "hidden" is a total cross-threading of religious doctrine. On the one hand, believers will say that "God wrote the Bible, God incarnated himself and died on the cross for us, and God answers millions of prayers on earth every day." Then in the next breath they will say, "God must remain hidden." God obviously cannot "remain hidden" and "incarnate himself." These two items are mutually exclusive. Therefore, the explanation that "God must remain hidden" is impossible. As soon as you accept how impossible it is, you can begin to see see that God is imaginary.
In order to see the truth, you need to accept the fact that the scientific evidence is accurate and irrefutable. We have scientifically proven that God does not answer any prayers on earth. Every single "answered prayer" is nothing more than a coincidence.
We can see reality by looking at a simple example. Imagine that the rate of remission for some particularly nasty type of cancer is 5%. That means that if 20 people get this type of cancer, it is almost always fatal. Only one in twenty of the people who get the disease will survive. Knowing this, you can see what happens if we actually analyze prayer:
• 20 believers contract the disease
• All of them have read James 5:15, so all of them pray.
• 19 of them die
• The one who lives proclaims, "I prayed to the Lord and the Lord answered my prayers! My disease is cured! It is a miracle! I KNEW God would answer my prayers!"
• You never hear about the 19 who died. No one ever writes about them in a magazine. "Person prays, then dies" is not a great headline. And since they are dead, you will never hear from any of these people.
• Therefore, if you don't look at all the facts around the "answered prayer," and you only hear about the one out of twenty prayers that succeed, it appears that prayer is successful.
The fact is, believers who pray die from this disease at exactly the same rate as people who do not.
We can see the reality of this situation simply by opening our eyes and looking at the data. But we do have to open our eyes -- We have to look at both the successes AND the failures of prayer to see the reality of our world. When we take a scientific approach and we do look at both sides, we see what is really happening. God does not answer any prayers because God is imaginary
Please pray for me lol
Hi there Skye2day!
I will admit to my faith also being up and down...too often, in fact! My greatest fault is not trusting God completely. But I am working on it. (Smile!)
When GOD knows our prayer comes from our heart, HE will always hear and answer. Great hub Skye!!
I really liked how you correlated our life as a garden that needs to be cultivated and we decide what we sow in that garden and will reap the rewards of what is sown I also liked how this relates to prayer as well.
You covered a lot of ground. Good insights and instruction for life and prayer.
A wonderful post Skye, Thank you for this reminder that God is always faithful to hear our prayers.
Learning to hear and recognize God's voice is important to our prayer life. How fervent are our prayers? There are examples in the Bible where fervency in prayer brought answers as well. The list can certainly go on and on. Keep pursuing that communication with Him.
Our Lord never fails to answer us. We just fail to hear Him. Sometimes we wait for thunder and miss the whisper. Thanks for this inspirational reminder.
Speaking with and listening to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have been daily habit to me for so long, that it is automatic - like a computer program running inthe background. At times, prayers are answered before I even think of the words; so I am thankful for this relationship(s).
AMEN! skye2day, Prayer is our communication to our Lord. He wants to hear from us daily, not just when we are in trouble or in need. I talk to God everyday because I want Him to know I acknowledge Him in everything! Very well written Hub my friend. Voted-Awesome. I have missed you! Much love... ALWAYS!
God bless you skye2day, this hub is very well done and so beautiful. You said everything that will encourage and inspire one's life. Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God gave us. Prayer changes things. Prayer will bring God into our situation. God anticipates our needs and desires, in Isaiah 65:24 God says, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking I will hear." My beloved Sister in Christ, thank you for sharing, I love it. I love everything that has to do with Prayer, because I am a prayer warrior. Good job! If you get a chance read my hubs, " God says call out to Him and He will answer us" also "The Resurrection Body has Power" I love you in the Lord, stay blessed.
Skye you put a smile on my face when I read, "have you ever wondered why its been along time since your prayer has not been answered".am I that special that i have my prayers answered when I ask everytime, on time, right away, what I have written here yes all my prayers are answered at that time, what I mean is that when I had my ops I received the healing right away, and for everything else I ask for God gives it to me in evrything I ask for from my heart. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want." Psalm 23:1
I believe this is why my prayers get answered at the time of asking, Jesus did say that we are not to doubt, then we receive the answer.
Some prayers are answered almost before we finish them.
Some prayers are answered but not as we wish them to be.
Some prayers are answered but it takes for ever.
Fact is all prayer is answered, but are we paying attention or are we expecting a certain answer and get another.
Well done sister Skye - Beautiful! God always hears our prayers and responds to them. It's just the answer doesn't necessarily come as fast as we want someitmes.
Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days - God answered the prayer on the first day, but the enemy held up the angel who was sent and delayed him a bit (Dan.10:12-14) from delivering the blessing. There may often be extenuating circumstances we are not aware of. We all just need a little patience (and faith) sometimes because our Father in Heaven does know everything we need. Be blessed... Skye,
I wonder if sometimes God doesn't provide the answer, and we're just too busy to notice! I know that's been true in my life at times--just a thought. Thanks for sharing on this important topic!
