How Loud is your Bark or Sharp your Bite against Spiritual Warfare

Updated on September 8, 2011

How loud is your bark against the evil one?

God Dreams

Recently I have been having some colorful dreams.God is technicolor. I rarely remember my dreams if any. if I have a dream I may remember bits and pieces for a brief time when waking. Then it is just a past memory that dissolves into thin air. My first visible, visual dream I recall was Thanksgiving 2009. My husband and I were dancing with the Lord. At that time he was lets say in the wilderness. He was chained by alcohol. He knows I share some of his past and if any of 'his stuff' sheds light to help another David is grateful. David is most often the first editor in my writings and he sends his Blessings on it.

This was a very difficult time for us. I truly loved my husband and I truly deplore the disease. David a Christian had wandered from Jesus.I remained diligent in prayer. There were times I wanted to give up. God held me up in spite of the consequences it brought to the family. This is the kind of illness it is. It whips through the family like a tornado. It will try to wipe out all in it's path.

Briefly, I met David when he was sober. We both got sober in the rooms of AA. Praise God. We met, fell for each other. I was saved, David got saved. We were sober together for many happy, awesome years. I had my short comings. I am a sinner too. I used credit cards and rested on my God given Blessings and laurels. I was foolish. I am forgiven. It is done and over with. David took a drink after 13 years of sobriety. The first drink lasted four long years. I continued in prayer, for a man after Gods Heart. I wanted to walk from the relationship. I hated what was going on. Today David and I are dancing with the Lord together. He is into studying the Word of God. Some days for hours on end. He is sober and clean. He is on fire for Christ.

We are the dance in the dream, both of us swirling around with God together all holding hands. I believe God was showing me He was in control and my hearts desire was His desire. He put it there. He is the dream maker. He fulfills dreams. He is true to His word. 'Ask anything in my name according to my will and it shall be given unto you.' John 16:23

Well since then I have had a few very visual dreams. I am probably not a lone ranger here. Many people have vivid, technicolor dreams. Many interpret dreams. I do not know much about dreams other then this. When I wake from a very vivid dream, I have been led to write down notes. Last night I had a dream. It was around 3:00 AM. I came to the couch around 11PM. I could not get comfortable in my bed so I went to the couch. My lap top was opened. I had paper and pen sitting on the table from earlier that night. You may think, this is no coincidence. I believe I was to leave it as it was. I usually close up the lap top, tidy up papers then plug it into the charger, in the bedroom.

I woke and in my Spirit I hear, 'write down some notes.' After I heard the small, still voice more was revealed to me. I did not feel like writing. I was obedient. I sat up briefly, turned on the lamp grabbed a white envelope and jotted down some notes. I was in awe, but I was sleepy. I turned off the lamp. I heard the alarm in the bedroom go off at 5:30. David and I listen to Sheppard's Chapel together at 6 AM. I remembered the dream, in fact my heart was on fire. I heard the message. There is no doubt in my heart this was divine. All Glory to God!

WHICH DOGGIE ARE YOU?

The little female doggie with golden hair had a long, slim nose, and thick brown eyelashes around her bright, hazel eyes. She was all of 8 or 10 pounds. She had a Heart shaped doggie door to the back yard. She came and went in as she pleased. She ruled the roost at that door. Her doggie door was painted in pinks and reds on the outside of it. Anyone that came to that door could not miss her heart shaped door. She was proud of it too. No one had a door like she did. She wore a pink little collar with tiny diamonds in it. She was a little furry but was proud because she had been brushed the evening before. She gloated back and forth as to show off her pretty coat. She liked the quiet time without kids and noise. A figure came to the back door. Now she could go hide under someones bed but she was a brave little one. She would defend her home even though she wanted to go hide. The figure was a dark grey shape like a man colored in with black pencil. He was dark, tall and thin. He had a black bag of tools over his shoulder to break into the house. Well, little Pipsqueak decided no way, no how was this dark thing coming near those she loved. She barked and would back up and come running to the heart shape door stick out her head and bark again. She did this multiple times. The figure said, 'shut up, shut up now or I will rip your head off your neck, you little rat.' Pipsqueak did not care. She knew he would only try. She was not giving in to this dark shadow, no way, no how. The battle continued for ten minutes. Pipsqueak did not give in. She was tired but something inside, was pushing her and she continued in might. She had this high pitched little bark but her bite would snap and rip him a new leg. The shadow finally stood defeated. He saw a light come on. He said, 'I will be back little rat' Pipsqueak stood tall and did not give in until her master came and petted her, picked her up and said, 'it is OK pips, come in the room with us. NO one is there to hurt you.' 'Oh, only if my master knew', thought Pipsqueak.

So dark went on down the alley. Aha, he gloated, no light here, no rat dog. Along the back was a chained link fence. Shadow thought he was very smart. He took out a bone, a steak, a ball. Here comes Laggin. Laggin was around 50 pounds with a shinny, long black coat and warm brown eyes. He loved most anyone. He really loved those that had steak. He saw dark and was leary. Dark threw the bone at him and said, 'here, here nice doggy' Laggin was liking this. Then dark lurked over the fence. Laggin only looked up. He was busy enjoying the beef. Dark then tossed a big bone his way. 'Shut up lardy or the next one is poison' Laggin began to question the dark shadow while he took out the tools to get into the back door. Laggin watched and seriously wondered if he had made a mistake. Besides he was not a lardy by any shake of the stick. He was being.tricked. He thought, 'it could be too late.' Laggin had a deep growl. One growl could scare the he-be jeebies out of a critter.

Laggin was full of steak. He could barely get up. He felt poisoned he was so full. He made His way up to a standing position. He would fight for his home. He got a rush of energy and pranced to the back door. Shadow was like, 'go away lardo, go suck your bone'. One bark is all it took and Shadow almost forgot the tools because his knees trembled so much. He almost melted from the deep bark and then fizzled into the night air once the security light came on in the back yard. He was gone. He knew he was defeated on this attempt. Laggin buried the bone to remember. He would remember dark and this would not happen again!

Queenie knew she was it. Hey she messed with no one, no how. She was black and brown with a soft shinny, smoothe coat of fur. Her strong legs dominated her firm body. She loved everyone, unless she sensed evil in them. She was always prepared. She new there were shadows and they were not good. THere were times she was told to hush up not to bother with her noise. She knew though and she would do what it took to protect her own. Dark was determined to wipe out a household and spotted one on the corner with a dim light on in the corner of the room. 'No sweat off my brow,' gleemed dark'

Little did dark know who he was messing with. The tall, thin, dark figure pryed open the window. No sooner did his foot make it in and a roar like a lion came from Queenies mouth, her sharp white teeth glowed in the night. On came the lights everywhere in the house. Shadow melted from the light. He dissipated into thin air. The masters told Queenie to hold it down.' What is the problem Quennie?' You scared the socks from our feet. Go back to sleep now' Queenie knew and was proud. 'No way and no how,' she thought is anyone coming to rob my house of it's joy and peace.

So let me ask you a question? Which doggie are you? There is an enemy out there in the real world. He is not some dressed up figure. There is dark and light. If the dark comes to you what are you going to do? I am not into giving the enemy any PR. This is not enemy PR. He has been defeated on the cross at Calvary. He is doomed to the hell of fire. Jesus took our sin, sickness, illness, oppression and depression on the cross, for His Children. If you are a Child of God you are saved, born again. You are made new in Christ Jesus. You have asked Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior of your life and repented of sin. You are forgiven. We the Children of the most High God have God given powers over the enemy. There will be attacks. Remember this, 'The Light' always puts out the dark.

God told us there would be spiritual warfare. The news is this we have a helper, friend and comforter in Jesus Christ. Nehemiah was commissioned to rebuild the wall at Jerusalem. He became weary and stepped back. He refreshed and came back to the wall to complete his work commissioned to him. You know what prompted Nehemiah? God the father. 'Our God will fight for us.' Nehemiah 4:21.

SO when the going gets tough, do not let it get you. You will be all right. With Jesus we are promised. 'He will never leave nor forsake us.' Deutromnominy 31: 5-7. Be on the watch Children of God. The enemy tries to lure his way in the closer you get to the Lord Jesus Christ. The good news is this. NO matter the attack. We have the tools of Jesus Christ the Risen Savior to ward off the enemies in our lives. The Name of Jesus Christ. The name that is above all names.

If you need a Bible in your life please email me via hubpages. ( upper right corner) I will graciously send you one at no charge. In His Name.
