He has the whole world in His hands

Updated on May 30, 2012

God is the Light

I rise today and push open the blinds on the sliding glass door. I open the door to let my dog out and see my breath. The sky is grey and the clouds look like they have been etched in grey charcoal pencil. In between are small, white puffy clouds that remind me of cotton candy. In the horizon I see the clear blue sky. The grey clouds appear to be moving over to make room for the light. I am reminded by the Holy Spirit, God is the light. He is the way, truth and life. I rejoice it is going to be a God day. He has the whole world in 'his' hands. I pray that all believed in Christ.

I hear the chatter of the geese. They seem to be having a meeting of the minds. Similar to room full of woman before a class, study or gathering starts. I do not know if men chatter this much prior to a speaker at a gathering but I suspect they do. There is much chatter, some are louder then others. I suppose they want to be heard. I wonder what they are chattering to one another. I look up. In amazement today I take heed to the V they are in as they fly. The leader heads the flock. Victory in Jesus. Once in a few moments time, two or three fly off but they quickly return to their place in line. Oh what an awesome God we serve. His signs and wonders are everywhere. We just have to look. He is everything. He is everywhere. He stops the storms in life. He calms the raging seas. He signs his name in the sky with brilliant, colorful rainbows. I think of how God told Adam to name all the animals of the earth. Adam had to be a very creative man. He came up with awesome names for Gods animals, mammals, reptiles. God created Adam with gifts, how many gifts lie in us not opened? The geese land across the way in the empty, snow covered softball field to feed. If he so feeds the birds of the air, how much more will he care for us? Matthew 6:26

God is amazing Love. I thank God I am so Blessed. I am so grateful I know when I pass from this planet I will be in eternity with him, the creator of all. I pray I can make a difference in a life today.

Today for some reason His love so deep sinks into my cells, fiber and bones. I feel like I am in a country where the neighbors are sparse but I live in the middle of a busy city. God Blessed us when he led us to our new home. He knew his plans. He gave me much more then I ever dreamed of when we lost our home 3 years ago. I thank God.

My heart gets heavy. I am reminded of a comment I read last night on one of my stories, 'Never, Never Give Up'. My heart fills with compassion as it did last night. I erased everything I started in this original writing because I am led to speak my heart. I pray if it be Gods will 'defeated' comes to read what I share. It is not me that shares. I am a tool for Christ. I have words etched on my heart just as the grey clouds appear etched in charcoal grey chalk. The words are like fire of the Holy Spirit burning in me. I need to be obedient.

Defeated simply commented, 'I feel like giving up'. I have searched for you defeated and can not find you on line. I asked you to email me and have not heard from you. You are on my heart this AM. I do hope you are OK today. I prayed for you. There was no mistake God led you to my writing for a reason. You were to read it and for some reason, I am to answer. Not that I am all that good, nor do I do I have all the answers. There is one that is and does, His name is Jesus Christ. The enemy lies to you 'defeated'. Satan wants you to believe there is no hope. You see Christ over came the sin of the world on the cross at Calvary. He defeated the enemy for us.

If you are not sure of the Bible being written by God, through men of God this may help you. David wrote Psalm 22, 1000 years prior to the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Think about it. There is no way, no man could write the exact description of what happened to Jesus the day his feet and hands were nailed to the rugged cross 1000 years later. No way. His tongue stuck to his mouth because he was so thirsty. He was offered vinegar for drink. He did this for you and I, for the sin of the world. John 3:16 If that is not harsh enough his bones were out of joint, dogs tried to paw at him. He had 39 brutal stripes on him with a whip that had the metal balls with spikes sticking out of them. His crown of thorns was pushed into his scalp. That is how much He loves us. Many of His people that believed in Him spit at Him. He was cursed and scorned. He asked the Father to forgive them, ' for they know not what they do.'.Luke 23:24 Many that He healed saw Him crucified. This my friend, 'defeated' is huge. That is proof the Bible is the written word of God.

God knows what we have been through. He knows the child in us. We do not have the strength to carry the burdens. They are like poison to the flesh. God wants to handle our pain for us. When we try to handle it there is no room for good. For me I had to lay my face in the palm of Gods hand and let him pull out the poison. Like a porcupine, the quills hurt when pulled but our God knows the pain. He will smother you with love and show you He cares. It is our choice to allow Him into our heart. Sometimes we want to be acknowledged. We want someone to fix us. Wave the flag to Christ, He can fix you.

We can give love, get love. Give water, get water. If life seems like a big fat lemon, make lemonade. I can give you hope in Jesus. He knows everything. He knows our sin. He condemns us not. You will never be out-sinned, because Christ is the way to be redeemed. He knows people will blow it. Pain will happen. God knows everything that makes us nervous or anxious. He knows the thoughts that scare you and I. The enemy waits and when we are not trusting will try to edge in. God wants the pain you suffer. He is waiting at the door 'defeated' He knocks at your door. Revelation 3:20 Jesus will be so happy to dry the tear, to give you hope. To give you freedom from bondage. He asks for a chance. He loved us first, so we could love. The faithful Father will handle it for you, for me, for any that ask of Him. He is not up there with a belt. He is here with us. He will cover us with His big arms and love us, so we can love ourselves. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 3:13

Defeated do not put your trust in men or fleshly lusts of the world. They will chain you. I know I was chained. When I asked Jesus into my heart the chains fell off. I will make mistakes because I am human, but I try not to tread those neighborhoods any longer. Christ will pick me up when I stumble. He is not going to throw me back into the ocean where I was drowning and say, 'psyche' to throw me back in. I can share water with you to drink but I can not make you drink it.

Jesus will not make you do anything, you choose. Remember this you are loved, forgiven and have a home in Heaven when Jesus lives in you.Romans 10:9-10 I tell you the truth you are not alone. Jesus created you for a reason. Try Jesus before you give up. Take baby steps. Ask him into your heart. Do not trust in men of the world. Things of the world we do not take with us. God knows what you need to live on earth. He has wonderful plans for you, for me, for all. Earthly fathers can blow it, but yes they do love, how much more does the Heavenly Father love you? Be encouraged, defeated.

In love, I write for Jesus Christ our Lord. In love, I tell you I care. Do not suffer any longer. Your feelings will pass. The Word of God never changes. He is not going to change His mind, He never has. His word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Hebrews 13:8 Go to Jesus and be of good cheer He has the answers. Talk to him like a child. When you know Jesus you are known by Him. John 1:12

I left you a moving and incredible song below. Truly, you will be touched. So do kick back for a few, and listen up.

Be Blessed my friends. Hugs Galore.
