Hi Huber's, There is no reason to be all dried up this summer. No excuses. I have gathered a few tips for sharing. These cost pennies on the dollar to make. The ingredients are most likely in your cupboard or pantry. They have been tested by me. The majority have been around for decades. What is hiding in your closet? They do work and like a charm. Enjoy Take what you want, pass it on and leave the rest behind. I am a hair stylist of 20 years and I know these remedies work. I share them with clientele. I have had rave reviews. My Love, Stay cool, Warmest Wishes, Patti
#1. Dry, itch, flaky scalp and hair Where is the mayo? Take one heaping tablespoon of mayonnaise and apply it to your clean, wet scalp. Work it in from the scalp to the ends. If you have a friend close by have them massage the mayo into your scalp. They may think you have lost it but wait till they see the shine. Put a plastic cap or shower cap on your head. Seal it tight. Leave on for 15 or 20 minutes. Rinse in warm water, for extra shine and no fly away hair always rinse the last 10 seconds.in cool water. I tried this and was in awe My hair was shinny, smooth, soft, silky and very manageable.
#2. Chlorine Hair (green tinge) Wow I wish I would have known this 15 years ago. My Blondie daughters used to get green hair from the swimming pool. We tried many ideas. One was red Kool-Aidd to pull out the green. Sounds like that would work. Did NOT. We are talking Blondie's.. We tried professional shampoos and store shampoos. They pulled a little bit of the green tinge out. The winner is Club Soda. Shampoo hair, rinse, pour one half to one cup of club soda into hair.Work it into the hair. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. (Wrap in a towel if desired ) Rinse in warm water. Condition hair as usual. The carbonation and CLEAR liquid pull out the green. It works very well like 99%.
#3. Dry hair relief. Wash hair as usual. Take 1/2 to 1 cup pure Virgin Olive Oil and apply to clean, wet hair. Cover with a plastic cap. Wrap into a towel for body heat to the scalp. The heat opens the cuticle shaft for a deep condition. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Shampoo lightly, condition with regular conditioner, warm water rinse. Always (if you remember) Rinse the hair in cool water for the last 10 seconds. The cool water seals in the conditioner. It also helps control fly away hair, reduces tangles on longer hair, gives a softer look and feel to curly hair and makes it shinny, and adds more volume to fine hair. (similar to mine) I try to remember each day. I Love the cool water rinse.
